First Week in the Library!

We had a great first week in the library! Students checked out books for the first time, and they were introduced to the first three library centers: Independent Reading Center, Buddy Reading Center, and Magazine Center! Check out the pictures below.

Volunteers Help with Re-Barcoding Project

We had SO many volunteers come to help with our re-barcoding project before the start of school! Each book in our library had to have a new barcode placed on it before students could check them out. Our volunteers included parents and grandparents, members of churches, and the SA club at the High School. There is no way this project would have been completed without these volunteers. In fact, we were able to re-barcode EVERY book before the first day of check-out! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

The Book Fair is Coming!

Dear Parents and Families:

The Bookaneer Book Fair is coming! There are many opportunities for your students to shop at the Book Fair, including a family night!

Students will attend the Book Fair during their “Specials” time. PE students come at the beginning of their “Specials” time and all the other “Specials” classes come during the last 20 minutes of class. Parents are welcome to attend the Book Fair with their child!

Book Fair Dates: 9/19-9/23

Shopping Hours: 8:45am-3:00pm

Special Events: Family Night- 9/22 from 4pm-7pm
